The Pause That Powers You
Share
In a world chasing more — more speed, more output, more noise — Fikernot is a reminder that you’re allowed to step back.
Not to quit. But to breathe, observe, and simply be.
It's not about escape.
It's about returning to yourself — even if just for a moment.
Whether you're stuck in traffic, between meetings, or waiting for your coffee to brew — that's your chance.
To pause. Reset. Reclaim your pace.
Fikernot is not a destination.
It’s a state of mind — one that travels with you, grows with you, and stays yours.
So go on — take your moment.
We’re not asking you to stop the world.
Just slow it down long enough to feel it.

Don’t build your entire life around a job. Build a job around your life or varied jobs along with passions, relationships, adventures and other avocations. Fundamentally we were born to live lives to the fullest, not just exist to keep working at a job till sunset years. Stop worshipping jobs. If you have achieved your goals and arrived where you planned to be, then stop racing and let go. Don’t keep hanging in there lingering on just for passing time. Vacate the chair for someone else. Nothing stops if you quit. Don’t arrest yourself in a ‘self made career’ jail. Don’t burnout to earn a social badge of approval. You are not responsible for the version of you that exists in other people’s minds.Go home, smell the coffee while drinking, watch the bees and flowers. Take a sabbatical. Doing nothing is not laziness. It is clarity in life.
The best time to quit is at the peak of your career. You will savour your accomplishments and goodwill for the rest of your life. Your achievements will sustain you socially and emotionally till the end. There’s a lot more to life than keeping reporting to work every waking day. Don’t wait for a burnout badge to trigger an exit.
If you feel accomplished and arrived then step away. There’s more to life than jobbing. When all 24 hours are truly for your whims and fancies will you start living for yourself.
it’s necessary to go on a sabbatical. you determine your pace.
