Don’t postpone happiness. Don’t procrastinate enjoyment. It is important to have fun right when you want to, no matter how stressful workloads are. Step back and tell yourself you shall not schedule away or club together all happiness or enjoyment to a ‘fun time’ weekend or vacation. If you don’t practice taking it easy whenever you want to, then you will never finally let go when you need to. Be emotionally healthy.

Keep ‘Head in the forest, hands in society’. This powerful teaching by Sri Satya Sai Baba in essence gives a solid start to ‘Life after job’. When you ask yourself what comes next after a fulfilling heady career, the first task is to start decluttering and decongesting your life to help move ahead towards Vānaprastha. That stage of life when one needs to start giving up, start shedding the unnecessary baggage accumulated over the years, redistribute your wealth, get clarity to live life on your terms. Everyone has their own unique ways of giving up or spreading happiness. If you’ve had an accomplished career you can do this as well. If you’ve enjoyed creating wealth you’ll also enjoy giving up wealth. Let go, clear your path, let the light shine through.

Stop doing things that dont have relevance anymore in your daily life. Why keep tracking stock marketplaces when you aren’t too bothered anyway. if you have made enough for going forward why keep old habits?
